Currently, she is working on U.S. defense policy in the Middle East. Also, she previously worked at the State Department at the United Nations. In 2012, Asha graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in International Affairs with a concentration in International Security Policy. Also, Asha received a B.A. in Political Science at Hampton University. Recently, she was recognized by the New York State Comptroller, Tom DiNapoli for her service in Kuwait. Also, she has been involved with global youth advocacy for several years. Asha is a co-founder of International Youth Council (www.internationalyouthcouncil.com). She is a proud board member of Women Veterans & Families Network.
